Lots of people in Donegal are having problems receiving RTE's new Saorview Television Service as they live in what RTE term a Blind Spot. Having put up with years of poor analogue RTE1 and RTE2 with no TV3 at last if you live in one of these areas in Donegal you can now receive RTE free to air in crystal clear digital quality via satellite, all you need is an 90cm satellite dish with a Ka LNB pointed at a satellite located at 9east. The UK satellite is located at 28.2east so RTE are broadcasting a little to the right of the BBC.

If you are like many other people who do not want more than one satellite dish on your house then we have the answer for you, a fixed 90cm dish with 2 LNB's one for RTE and one for the BBC and the rest of the free UK TV which includes UTV, CH4, FIVE, SKY NEWS, E4, MORE4, FILM4, CNN, CNBC, POP, POP JUNIOR, CBBC, FIVE USA, 5*, CH4+1 and over another 120 unique channels. We have put together a bundled Donegal TV package for you to fit yourself, once the supplied Technomate TM90S satellite dish is pointed at Eutelsat 9east , fit the supplied Triax rail and then fit the 2 LNB's, the Ka LNB is for Saorsat and the Ku LNB is for Freesat on 28.2east. Run a short cable from each LNB to the supplied Diseqc switch and then run one cable from the Diseqc switch to your supplied HD DVB-S2 satellite receiver, now scan 9 east first and 28.2 east second and now no matter where you live in Ireland you will have all the Irish Channels and all the Free UK satellite channels available to you on your new HD Satellite receiver.

TV3 and 3e have yet to be added to Saorsat, no date has been announced when they will be added to the Saorsat lineup.
